Manuel Torres Diz, PhD

Manuel founded AcceleraGenomics after more than 15 years of research spanning cancer genomics, computational biology, and biomedical data analysis. His experience spans cancer genomics, transcriptomics, alternative splicing, sequencing technologies, bioinformatics, and research data engineering, allowing him to bridge scientific questions with the computational systems required to answer them.

That research background is the foundation of AcceleraGenomics: projects are led directly by someone who has spent years designing sequencing experiments, building analysis pipelines, and turning genomic data into peer-reviewed findings — and who now combines that scientific grounding with modern data engineering and cloud infrastructure to build practical, production-grade research computing resources. That combination is what differentiates AcceleraGenomics from both traditional bioinformatics analysis services and general software consultancies.
